Hey everyone, meet my new Céline bucket bag.

Yeah, so of course I’m introducing you to my bags. No but seriously, whenever a precious new little guy enters into the family, you can count on me using and abusing him until he’s barely recognizable, filled with 12,000 pounds of stuff, being dragged around and about to who knows where spending entirely too much time on the floor despite the recommendations of the IABH (International Association for Bag Hygiene).

So yeah, the least I could do was give him a nice warm welcome.

My Sofia Coppola is so jealous that I had to bring her all the way to Australia just to show her I’d never abandon her, even if she never makes it out of my suitcase, poor girl.

But that’s how it goes with me. I’m so faithful to my accessories to any streetstyle photographer had he decided to chase me would pull his hair out. I’m the anti-Anna Dello Russo par excellence, the rebel version of Giovanna without a cause, the lowest base camp of wardrobe rotation. Ahhh, who ever cares?

But this is the reason why I chose my accessories with the utmost attention. This one here, I saw it when I was at the Céline presentation with Carole, my friend from Département Féminin. I swooned !

I loved its colors right away, how it’s a touch 80’s and doesn’t at all take itself too seriously, almost in bad taste but chic at the same time. Right away I saw my camera and my planner and my iPad and my makeup and my snack and my phone and my magazines and my….. yeah, so my entire life could fit right inside.

I like that it could be worn on the shoulder to leave my hands free for the millions of things I do with my hands, like, you know, live…

I told myself I’d wait till it arrived in stores and then I’d buy it.

A few days ago, I got it in the mail, in the most beautiful box from Département Féminin. … A gift from Carole.

Aaaaah. Carole. I luuuuuuuuuuuvvvvvv you! Big hugs!
