You really can’t go wrong with a classic, Carolyn Bessete-Kennedy-esque look – a personal favorite. And Lilli is a 2000s girl that sort of hits the nail on the head for exactly that. (A quick Google search will prove my point.)
Straight leg denim, quaint collarless blouse with delicate white buttons, a grey tweed double-breasted coat and a modern update to a ballet flat, the white Céline ballet pump. It’s an ensemble that can really transition from autumn to winter, and from work to dinner at Indochine (yes, a spot even miss Bessette dined at).
A classic look is simple, understated and almost always with the fewest colors possible. I love it, although I may be biased as it’s PRETTY similar to my go-to getoutofthehousebeforeyousecondguessyourgutfeeling look.
I’m a fan, what do you think?
