I know, I know, this looks very much like an ad because… THIS IS AN AD!

Wooooooo ! I had prepared a totally different post for today but this morning, something landed on our busy desks… The new Net-à-Porter ad campaign !!!

And I am in it !!! (Yes, it’s me, the smiling girl with the brows.)

Not that I didn’t know I had been photographed for the campaign, I mean.
But guys it’s the kind of stuff that happens only once in your life, that you get that call :

“Hi, would you be interested in modelling for our fall-winter 2012 campaign ?”

Sorry, you mean, your campaign, campaign ?

“Yes, Patrick Demarchelier is the photographer.”

(Voice extinction)

Fast forward a few weeks later, here we are, Patriiiiiiiick and I, talking about vacation. The wonderful stylist Ludivine Poiblanc is pep-talking me, “but of course, you will fit in that dress” and Kate Young and Amanda de Cadenet, the two other models of the campaign (two great and totally bad ass girls as Em, my assistant says – I am so proud to have been chosen amongst them!) are getting prepared.

The whole team is wonderful. Everyone is nice, talented, warm, everybody’s taking care of us, we get pictures we will remember all our lives done (Patriiiiiiick!) we get to wear clothes we adore (Stella, Pierre Hardy and Victoria Beckham !) and we are sent back home (chauffeurised, of course) telling us a million thank yous.

No, but seriously.

Life like this is such a dream !

I should have been a top-model.

I would like to give a sincere, deep and warm thank you to Net-a-Porter. Not only do I love Net-a-Porter’s team, but they are really friends of the blog. We are getting ready to shoot the second season of Pardon My French thanks to them. They’ve been here since the beginning, always ready to listen to my projects, interested, respectful. No one can dream of a better partner. PLUS THEY OFFERED ME A CAMPAIGN ? Love.
