One of the advantages of jet lag, besides having extra time to reflect on life or some time to read tons of paperbacks in the middle of the night, is the opportunity to watch the sunrise sitting on the windowsill while the whole world is sleeping…

But the thing about arriving in Australia is that actually, you feel like this :

You feel all turned upside down. Seasons upside down. Time of day upside down. It’s like a parallel universe. So this morning, after almost screaming with admiration for these clouds, I finished by waking up Scott… Who laughed, and simply said :

“Welcome to the Down Under, baby…”
