A Street Style with Christelle Scifo

I’m wearing an Isabel Marant silk cream blouse and vintage motorcycle pants I found (as a set with a matching jacket) at a flea market in Paris, suede heeled boots, a vintage embellished purse found in Florence and my woven Balinese market bag I use for flowers in the morning.

I feel I’m more influenced, or perhaps play to my French style more when in Sydney and then use the Australian influence of resort wear and more relaxed looks when I travel and I’m in Paris, I love the contrast of the two worlds. With my line of work as a floral and still life stylist and creative director I need to be able to move and work in what I wear, but always with a feminine touch – pockets help with this, fabrics, fits, cuts and quality too. I want to be comfortable, yet always elegant.

Vintage is my go to, I find unique pieces especially when I travel and pair them with investment pieces and basics; Isabel Marant always, Jacquemus, Protagonist, Ellery, Albus Lumen, Matteau, Paris Georgia, Barbara Casasola, Base Range, Maryam Nassir Zadeh, Chloe and a touch of Céline.

I dress for my day, how I feel or how I hope to feel of a day. I carry my look often from early morning into the evening with the change of a blouse, shoe and addition of a red lip to take it from day to night.

My must have items include vintage dresses, eclectic sandals, slips, a classic, wearable boot, tailored, high rise pants, 501 classic jeans, feminine lace blouses and men’s linen shirts along with bags, lots of bags, big earrings, and well cut blazers.
