Summer Jewelry

3 years ago by

In the summertime, I crave wardrobe simplicity. Maybe it has something to do with summer’s easy attitude– hanging out at the beach, diving into the lake, a barbeque in the backyard. The summer vibe is not about fuss or complication.

It also has something to do with the weather. Ninety plus temperatures (and 90% humidity if, like me, you live in New York) do not easily lend themselves to fashion risks. I’ll rock a statement earring in the colder months, but during a mid-August ocean dip? Let’s just not.

With that summer spirit in mind, we channeled our inner-minimalists for this jewelry story. Keeping it easy? It’s easier than you think.

Lightweight chains are a no-brainer. It’s that little hint of something that entices but doesn’t overwhelm. These guys are the perfect combination of delicate and durable.

These lobe earrings. Not only are they outrageously chic, BUT they are perfect for the beach because they won’t.fall.out. You’re welcome.

Let’s talk about simple math for a minute. A chic black maillot plus the perfect gold accents. That, my friends, equals your go-to summer look.

Picture this: you’re frolicking in the sand with your summer fling, living your summer fantasy life. What is that glistening hint of gold around your ankle? It’s an anklet because, you guys, anklets are back.

There’s just something clean and refreshing about white with silver. And on sun-kissed skin, it only gets better.
