An Anja Original

It’s no secret that we’re fans of Anja.

She’s one of our favorite models here in the studio. So, we were excited to try her new fragrance (especially since we’re all about women building empires, right? Right!).

First impressions of the packaging: simple and elegant. Definitely something that would look pretty on a shelf in any room.

The fragrance: very subtle – this is the kind of fragrance for those who don’t want to be a walking cloud of perfume, which we can get behind. It sits nicely on the fence between floral and smokey, but it’s so gentle that the smell doesn’t hold to skin for a super long time.

Anyway, the studio smells pretty good…

What’s your favorite fragrance right now?

  • This sounds like something I would like. My perfume is Chanel Beige extrait.

  • This sounds great I may have to check it out!
I use Chanel Chance, Allure and Allure sensuelle which is my absolute favorite.

  • Diptique’s L’ombre dans l’eau…a deep Bulgarian rose lurking behind a grassy, cassis top note. Long lasting..Not sweet, definitly a scent for a woman who knows what she wants…

  • Now I will definiately try it!

Flakon reminds me on Chanel °5. I wear actually L’Eau Serge Lutens.

  • I wear Eau Claire Des Merveilles by Hermès a lot–very subtle.
Will see if I can find a sample of AR. The bottle and lettering on the cap are great.

  • For many years I have been using only Eclat D’arpege by Lanvin and lately (influenced by my new found power ;-)) I switch between those and Voyage by Hermes, depending on my mood. Seems that I am one of those women hwo stick to the fragrance that feels RIGHT and stay faithful. I like the packaging, but I feels so good in Hermes and Lanvin that I will not be tempted.

I’m totally obsessed with Gypsy Water by Byredo. It smells of smoke, lemons and something very very warm. I love the smell of smoke and I’ll be trying out Anja’s fragrance for sure- I’m a bog fan of hers!

  • Original by Anja sounds very nice – I will sample. Depending on my mood/where I am going I love Frederic Malle-L’eau d’Hiver and Tom Ford-Cafe Rose for the winter time. Both very comforting scents and make me feel good.

  • Just about any and everything Chanel makes is stunning so I find myself wearing lots of Chanel fragrances. Le Labo’s Iris 39 is a favorite. L’artisan’s Havana Vanille is the best vanilla scent ever. Musc Ravageur by Frederic Malle is the sexiest thing on earth. Now its unexpectedly warm in Los Angeles–I’m wearing Simply Clean by Ulta.

  • Pour moi le packaging est hyper important donc je vais tester car il me plait sinon en ce moment je porte Chanel NOIRE
