Blonde Ambition

Hi guys, this is Natalie! I’m the managing editor at Atelier Doré, and I’m taking over today’s episode of Pocket PMF. We’re talking about being blonde, something I have no knowledge on, but am excited to learn about! Lucky for me, I’m joined by two of the Atelier’s resident blondes, Tori and Mary, as well as our good friend Silja, who is also very blonde.

I’ve heard that being blonde is a commitment, and you have to be willing to spend some time and energy and probably money in order to keep your hair healthy. Regardless of the type of blonde you are, achieving the best version of your hair is all about how you care for and maintain it, right?

We had Tori and Silja test drive BLONDME hair care products from Schwarzkopf Professional, which was specifically created to meet all of your blonde needs, and achieve that “best possible blonde,” from home! Alright let’s get into it and talk about products, tips, and tricks to keep that golden luster alive.

  • I had to comment because I’m a blonde too and grew up being called a towhead. I didn’t know what it meant for a while but it isn’t as bad as it sounds. Tow (not toe) is a type of fibre like flax. According to the encyclopedia, it refers to “the fibre of flax, hemp, or jute prepared for spinning.” Since flax is light in color, blond people (especially children) are sometimes referred to as “towheads” or “towheaded,” expressions first recorded in the 19th century. ? Love the podcast and always enjoy listening. Just had to clear things up! xo

  • This makes WAY more sense. Thank you for clarifying x

  • I would love to hear a pocket PMF about birth control. Love these podcasts – thanks girls!
