Elie Saab Couture Spring 2014

It’s fashion week(s) — more like fashion month — and instead of getting swept up and consumed by shows around the world, we are throwing it back and reminiscing on those shows that changed our perception, sat with us long after the last model left the runway, and all around make us believe in the magic of fashion. First up, Jane talks about her love of Elie Saab.

______________

My favorite “colors” are black and white so it came as a surprise to me that this colorful collection tugged on all of my heart strings- I was obsessed with the way one palette gently flowed into the next through the most ethereal, swoon-worthy looks. Cut to the pieces that blended black and white with color in such a masterful and feminine way- I immediately started dreaming up scenarios where I’d be able to wear one of these dresses myself! So if you’re looking for a date to a red carpet/black tie affair, I’m available and have my outfit all picked out. Don’t worry, I’m sure Elie would be more than happy to lend it over to me.
