What’s on your bookshelf?

It’s starting to get colder outside which means I’m getting lazier…errr…spending more time indoors and looking to read a few good books. I am just finishing up Yes Chef, Marcus Samuelsson’s memoir (READ IT!) and my bookshelf is looking a little empty. Any suggestions for a good cold weather read? What is on your bookshelf?

Beyoncé at the Billboard Music Awards

Do you remember when Garance met with Carol & Humberto in Paris?

I really liked the projections at the Kenzo show, so I tracked down the Beyoncé clip that inspired them….

I mean, how cool is that!! Man, Beyoncé is such a performer.

Matte Nails

I’m a little bit of a nail polish junkie…okay maybe not a little…(between my roommate and I, we have over 100 different colors) but I never tried matte nails until this photo in November Elle got me lusting for a shine free look.

I’ve been using Essie’s Matte About You topcoat for the last few weeks and am totally hooked! What do you think of matte nails?

Diana Vreeland…

George Plimpton: “How does one become Diana Vreeland?”

Diana Vreeland: “The first thing to do, my love, is to arrange to be born in Paris.”

Over the weekend, I saw the film, Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has to Travel and it was, in a word, wonderful. If it is playing at your local theater, don’t miss it!

Jourdan Dunn On…

What is one thing every woman needs in her wardrobe?

Every woman should have a wooly hat for those bad hair days. I’ve been wearing them quite a lot so people probably think I always have bad hair days, but I just think they are really cool as well.
