Every fall I get really excited to start pulling my sweaters and coats out of the closet—to me, there’s no better season than fall in New York. But in the two chilly-ish weeks we’ve had I’ve already noticed a trend in how I’m dressing: I wear jeans and a sweater literally every day.
Yes, this is easy, and cozy, and pretty much thoughtless which speeds my mornings up, but I find it to be also kind of boring. I feel like I finally hit my stride with my style this summer and now that I have to dive back into the depths of my closet for everything that I had stored away and forgot about for a few months, I’m feeling a bit flat on the style-front. Our edits have me excited to shop again, but as they say, old-habits die hard and I need some help snapping out of my casual funk.
